Spring Birds

With the flowers come the birds. Here's a few from the last week or so, mostly from just the back yard.
In my dotage I'm doing things I swore I'd never do, like bird-watching and crossword puzzles...

I have not taken pictures yet but the orioles are back and eating grape jelly.

Thanks. I put the oriole feeder out last week, with the grape jelly, but none yet! I've seen them on the golf course, so they're around...

We had 5 male orioles and 3 female fighting over the grape jelly today. Also the Rose Breasted Grosbeak, brown thrasher and Cat birds are back. Once the hummingbirds get back all the feeders will be active.

Ken I got some pictures but I can't seem to get all the steps right for adding pictures an hour and a half and nothing to show for it. Sorry. Someday I should just start using one of the picture services but have not had time to dig into it and decide on what one, etc.

Well, in between work at the barber/beauty shop.... we bird watch while we scratch on Florida Lotto Platinum Crossword Scratch-Off cards! Oh, the misery. At $3 a card I think we've won $10. Zepherhills, Florida is only an hour south of us...lucky POWERBALL winner!!!
