Yah, I like Steamboat Rock... the park there is really kewl. I've stayed there several times.. Did the Damn Lazer Show, inside on the Damn Tour... and above the lookout for the Damn overview.. nice.. Never made it up to the top of the rock, but did go down to the Canyon further on down... (Oh, whoops, replace Damn w/Dam.. heheh, my bad)

ps. I went to the other parks closer and up the lake a bit and Steam Boat was by far the best... I'm surprised you were able to get in, guessing it was a 'Tent' site... but it's really an Oasis in the desert...
