This is our first Camp-Inn 4 ft tear in the screen room we got. It worked great when the weather was bad and I have seen larger ones that I think our Raindrop will fit in.

Thanks Evan, it took me a few minutes to figure out but it worked great. I'm not real computer literate. LOL

So Bruce, you've been the proud owner of 2 Camp Inn's? I'm extremely jealous! I like the screened room for the TD, hopefully we can all find one for the Raindrop. Do you have the sidetent set up as well?

Linda,
We do have the side tent and it is great. I am looking for a new screen room and have found one at cabelas that is 12 X 12. It's as large as our living room but the Raindrop would fit. The only problem is finding a site large enough for it. I think we are going with a 10 X 10 just to cover the galley area and maybe get another side tent later. I also replaced the poles on the side tent with some I found at Cabelas that break down and have cam locks that allow them to fit in the front storage area and are easier to adjust. I also got a friend to cut the cross bar for the tent so it too will fit in the storage compartment.

Bruce,
Which Cabelas screen room you looking into? I have thought about the Alaskan Guide Gazebo. It is advertized at 12x15. This is a bit misleading. The 15' dim. is between two corners of the hexagon footprint. Our 550 will fit. I invision using it w/o putting the TD inside, but could if the weather dictated. This screen room is pricey, but should be the last one we would need. It does come with the full coverage rainfly. I like your ideas about the poles for the side tent.
Steve

Yeah, me too on the side tent poles - but my husband is NOT a Mr. Fixit type (but he can duct tape with the best of'em!) Once we get the TD I'll ck. all this out - sure would be nice if the Camp Inn people would just switch to those types of poles and make the crossbar for it. (Someone make a hint their way! Ha!)

Bruce, Is that your Baja? My wife drives a Baja. We tow with a Forester. I have a company vehicle for my daily travels. Our Baja is the yellow one. We like both our Subarus. The Forester is standard and seems to be a slightly better car. Forester is '02 and the Baja is '03.

Steve,
First we were looking at the Eureka 12 ft sq one but have deceided to get one from Paha Que which is 10ft sq. it has side curtains built in with a rain fly. We have one of their Tee Pee's and love it.
Now about the Subarus. We have a 2003 Legacy that my wife drives (130,000 miles) and now have a 2009 forester which we tow with. The Baja was 2006 and we loved it but we made the mistake of taking it to the dealer for an alignment and they offered us so much for it in trade we would have been fools not to take it. It had over 80,000 miles on it and was still running great. We both still miss it :(

Bruce,
Our dealer nearly drools when ever I show up and mention Baja. They have a waiting list of buyers. I am considering an Outback for my wife, if the deal for the Baja is good enough. I am going to check on Paha Que. Thanks... Steve

Steve,
Good luck with the Baja, I told them they had a 10% chance of selling me a new car and I went home with one. LOL
