On the last night of our trip we made it to Glenn's Ferry, Idaho and stayed at Thress Island Crossing State Park. It was hot. Really hot. 104 degrees around 4:00 hot. Other than the dog that wouldn't stop barking, that was the onl thn to complain about. The Park is very nice and made for a great stop. Luckily they left the sprinklers on for us t cool off in!
Hiking is available in the area, there is an Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, and a vineyard next door!
Here is my full campsite review.
