Walbernizeing your TD

I have not yet used Walbernize to clean our TD. I am looking for hints. Those of us who are long time owners:
1) How often do you give a complete cleaning?
2) Do you enjoy it being done more than doing it?
3) Do you dread doing it?
Just thought I would throw this out. I don't know if I will do ours before the season gets going. Ours was new last Sept.

I did ours once since we got it last June. It took me a while to feel like I was getting the hang of it. At Cary's suggestion I bought a couple of inexpensive orbital polishers @ Walmart and used paper towels on the pad when removing the paste.
I'm thinking of doing it again this spring, as a bird left its marks behind sometime over the winter. I think I might enjoy having it done somewhere if I knew that the person doing the job was familiar with the paste and how to do it without scratching the surface. It would also depend on how much it costs.
There used to be a good explanation of how to do the job on the CampInn website, my guess is it's still there. I'd just be sure to block out a day if you plan on doing the whole tear at once, especially for your first attempt.

I did a 550 ... once. It took most of a day and a bunch of muscles that hadn't been used in a while. Unless it gets really shabby I won't be doing our 560. I,m starting to like the oxydied patina

The Walbernizing page took a lot less time to put together than figuring out how to do the polishing. Craig spent 3 months trying over 12 different techniques before he came up with what he put on the polishing page. He went through 8 employees, too.

"How many Camp-Inn employees does it take to polish one of our trailers?"

The teardrop shown on the polishing page was the worst one he had ever seen for stains, so it was a good one on which to test the technique he finally came up with. Here are before & after pics of the hatch:

Craig said the easiest solution to getting your teardrop finish to look like new again is to do what they do with our demos - just have a new one built every few years!
