Wood on Door dinged

We had a couple of chairs bungeed in the center of the trailer - they got loose and caused some slight abraisions to the finish on the door. Has anyone had to touch of this type of damage? What did you use? Is it noticible after touch up?

Pat, I thought you would have had some answers by now. I would suggest that maybe Cary could tell you what he does when he gets units in needing some touch up.
Hope that helps,
Steve

Evan,
thanks, we are going to Camp-Inn in Oct. for a replacement of one of our cabin lights which failed so I will have Cary take a look at it then. It isn't too bad and we learned something about packing correctly.

Good job Evan.

You might have said to sand it with 150 grit, then 400 grit, dabbed it with water if there was a dent, let it dry to remove the dent & give it two THIN coats of Minwax Helmans Gloss varnish if it was bad; or to just use a little rubbing compound to remove the "slight abrasions", whatever they are. Slight varies per perspective.

I realize this thread is ancient, but I found in my furniture building career that often rubbing a piece of walnut meat into the wood removed the scratch, or made it a lot less noticeable.
