Camped at Beartree Campground, and recommend Chipmunk Circle. We were 3 families on 4 sites and had a blast! Some in our party rented bikes in Damascus; we all took a shuttle up the mountain to the top of Mount Rogers and coasted all the way down on the Virginia Creeper. Oh, coasted on bikes, not in the CI. This outing has become a yearly tradition. Great fishing too. Deep shaded campsites, well-kept baths. Five stars in my book!
