An update on an old story about my absence from the forum... That documentary, "Eleven", about WWII Air Group 11 that flew off the USS Hornet, well if you are in the Seattle area come January 9, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm, there will be a screening of the film along with a meet and greet with the director, George Retelas, and three of the Group 11 veterans, Jack Cocks - Dauntless pilot and Medal of Valor recipient, Verg Bloomquist - Avenger radio man and Kermit Enander - plane captain. It will be at the Museum of Flight, 9404 E. Marginal Way, S. Seattle, Wa.

This is a fantastic chance to meet some of the heroes who defended the free world...and Kermit is a hoot. He'll probably try some jumping jacks for the girls.
