Ketchikan wild life 6/24

    OK, I finally added some pics. Not really in order since the bear was somewhere in Canada but neat picture. The rest are from here at Ketchikan. We leave tomorrow for Wrangle.
    Note how close the eagle was to the boy.
    Also, can you count the eagles in the tree?
    My caption on the brown eagle is wrong. It was supposed to go with the mature eagle in the pic with the boy...

    I think this was the Big Boss - he chased everyone else away!

    Thanks for posting some photos....I'm sure there were more than 9 bald eagles in the tree, but that's how many I could make out. Have you seen any nests??? Do they "nest" up there? What a site. So glad you are getting to see "gatherings" of species!!!

    wow how did you manage to keep your camera still the excitement would have had me shaking. Thanks for the pictures never experienced anything like that!
