Does anyone know of a simple directory or web site that would list all state parks only with camping facilities not parks without camping facilities.

Try Reserveamerica.com. You can search for what type of campsite you want, ie trailer, tent, rv, etc. and then search by the whole US, individual state, or locale. You will then find a listing of all state and federal campgrounds. You can even search for specific dates or a date range. I hope that this helps!

We use the Ultimate Campground site. It lists all public parks - national, state, local, ACOE. I think they are color coded to the type. They just updated the site so I'm not sure exactly what changed.
