It was 94 degrees today but didn’t get above 68 in the trailer. I it does as good tomorrow when it might hit 100.

I found this note on my picnic table. It will be good to see the park rangers again. Most have retired and I have to behave like a common camper. No more tripping the coin operated shower for a free one, no more “borrowing” stuff from the shop, no more using the park kitchen and laundry.

I really don’t want to leave but I have work to be done at home. I’m all hooked up and ready to leave.

Next trip is mid August for 8 days on the coast. My biggest holdback was having someone take care of the cats. Now I have someone and am thinking of getting away for a few weeks in September.
