On our trip to Yellowstone, we could not use the Dometic so we picked up a Lifetime 55 Qt. cooler and put it through some real world testing. Note, that this does NOT fit in the galley area...we needed something larger since we were going for a week long trip.

Good review Jay. There are good coolers at an attractive price point.
 
Kayak camped the Suwannee River for 7 days And 97 miles using a Lifetime Cooler with great results. Froze a lot of the food ahead of time and only opened that cooler to get out the evening's food.
