RadExpand 5 Electric Folding Bike
No idea how this compares in detail to KarenBee's or Sweeneys but good pics to give a sense of relative size.
For CI I would imagine that one would need a cargo hitch to hold the tub? And straps to tie bike in. Not sure the CI accessory hitch can support that much weight but even if so I'd be a little nervous about tgat much weight wayyy on end of lever arm in terms of stress on frame and axles, sway at speed... given ruff roads I like to explore there is some concern about departure angle, twisting moment on the CI rear hitch...if you load that up a lot...
That infers one would then need to mount on TV hitch with need one of those tow vehicle extender type multi-item draw bars?

Hmmm. I'm really intrigued, but My TV is maxxed out as is on rear-end weight, schtuff in back and on top cargo box...
And I'd prefer NOT add more length to the hitch ball location either as in my case I need tight turn radius to maneuver on rough roads.l, turn arounds when boondocking. Thats the inherent advantage of combo with relative short wheel base of smaller TV like a Jeep or mid size SUV.
So I'd just get the super version of the 1up rack and mount a non-folder ebike on that:
2" Super Duty Single
I just dont have the room inside the TV for a folder, zipped bag cover, tub or not,
And as Sweeney points out- gear adrift in CI cabin WILL do a number on the woodwork.
Also re stowage in cabin:
From my limited noodling on this it appears
There are no super strong tie down points inside cabin
and
you'd need to fold mattress out of the way to get access to a secure mounting point, on the floor,
And
Be hauling a heavy bulky item in/out of cabin, past the oval door frame, on setup and take down. I'm relaxing while camping- thats just too much work.
But that's just me.
Good luck with this Long, and others; following with great interest...
