What a mess!

Time to move from my summer camp on Whidbey island and heading east to Wisconsin and a few other points east. There was the shutting down of the camp but mostly throwing stuff in the car and trailer to sort out as I stop here and there. So these pics are the inside look as opposed to all the beautiful pics that everyone posts. Real time . real junk...

Looks like the storage areas in our house after 40 yrs of accumulation. You've had a little less time, but a lot less space to produce the same effect..........your normal!

Two gear things that I have used forever and love.
Car door screens and the little step stool at the door.
I have a couple of those exact step stools. I like them except that I wish they were a bit taller. Can't quite reach half way across the roof for washing the trailer or cleaning the solar panels.

Yes! Try the amazing Amazon. I saw someone in a trailer gear video with a taller one that he used to get in the back if a truck.
Thus one is oerfect height to make up the suv lift, to sit on the bed and get my shoes on. And get to the top.of the td.

Yeah, I sometimes use one in the house where the size seems to work better.

The door has a story, as does every piece of gear, ya know!
A couple years back, when campinn started doing the doors, I asked for this door but they said they were having trouble with it and it probably wouldn't work. The next day when I came in they gave me this door! (edit..cant remember exactly but pretty sure i paid for the door.) I love these people !
There are more pins and a few fell off.
The original door is in the cabin somewhere. If 452 ever goes to a new owner the door will stay with me.

Oh! I hear crickets!
Thank you, Montana!

The BougeRV fridge is new and I'm very happy with it. It must be 20 lbs lighter that my first dometic.

PS: Yep, wildfire smoke...I may have mentioned the Watch Duty app:
Essential if boondocking in wildfire season, imho, for a headsup on whats coming at ya...

What I like is the depiction of surface winds, and air quality, so you can see how things are changing and maybe plan ahead a bit.

it's Friday?

I was up making coffee before the sun crested the horizon. The first beam of light caused the piney trees to explode with bird chatter and then the birds began blasting out of the trees. What a happy sight that was! We should all burst up out of sleep with such joy.

Gas in Wyoming was about 2.50$.a gal. The video screen over the pump ran a really interesting documentary about tips for better hunting. Things to think about. The roads and sky were both clear for the most part. Wyoming is lovely.
I sang along with Linda Ronstadt for a while. But now the cd is stuck in the player so I'm on my own for any more singing. (I'm hoping some good soul at cico will know how to release the cd.)
My company today was a frantic fly. Rolling down a window and hoping it gets sucked out never works. I'm hoping to rehome it in south dakota.

Its too cool for the crickets but the birds are doing their last singing before finding a tree for the night. The sun is setting and it's going to be pretty.

Edit...coyotes are singing. Whhhooooo

Hey Jenn,
Here is a link with a number of potential fix's for the stuck CD in your car, with some relatively benign things to try, and some more aggressive things that I might be hesitant to try: 5 Ways to Remove a Stuck CD from a Car CD Player - wikiHow
Hope that it can be of some help.
Oh thank you! I'll check it tomorrow. thanks

Dustin, helpful article! Got the cd out. The method to push the ON and EJECT buttons at the same time did not work. I used a sacrificial cd and wedged it into the slot, angling down and it triggered the eject process and after a bunch of grumbling it ejected the cd.

I put the cd back in to see if it had totally self corrected and if it would play the cd. It did play but would not self eject. I had to use the 2nd cd to get it out again. So I have to decide what to play while driving, knowing that's it for the day.
Thanks
❤️
