With respect to Lin and Larry Pardey, their book The Care and Feeding of the Offshore Crew is the "bible" of long distance cooks by any mode of transportation.

Living and traveling in So. Fla. it is really a no brainer. What would be even better would be a heat pump unit so all climate conditions would be covered.
