    Flexible Solar Panels

If Camp-Inn installed your solar controller, then they should have given you a 12V plug for the port on the side of your trailer. Wire PV cable to that plug and then use MC4 connectors on the other end to connect to your panel. If using multiple panels like I am, then you'll need some type of...

    Flexible Solar Panels

What panel did you buy and for how much? Two 60W panels were $295 ($255 + $40 shipping). Don't know how that compares with what you saw previously.

    Flexible Solar Panels

I ended up buying two 60W fiberglass panels from Lensun (Lensun 2x60W(total 120W) 12V Black Flexible Solar Panel for RV,Camper,Boat, Out Door Camping Solar Power). I actually ordered the aluminum ones for $45 cheaper, but they were out of stock and Lensun instead sent me the black ones for the...

    Flexible Solar Panels

I'm in the process of upgrading my electrical (adding AGM, etc) and am revisiting the issue of using solar, especially for keeping our battery charged for our Dometic. We do have the controller on our 550 and own an 80 watt rigid panel, but stopped using it a number of years ago because of the...

    Where to Service

We had some problems with our brakes on our last trip. After 4 years of ownership, we've never had our brakes or hubs serviced, so I figure we're overdue. I normally take my cars to an import auto shop which is really excellent, but I doubt they do trailers, and I don't have time to do it...

    Lots of opinions on Canopies

Other folks have mentioned taking it back to REI for replacement, but you can also get parts (at least the hubs) at TentPole Technologies. You won't find anything on the web site, so you'll have to call. I just had a hub replaced for $8.50 + $8.50 shipping.

    New Tear drop

My first thought was that it provides a serving area from the galley to the cabin. However, their brochure states that it's to allow a line of sight from the TV through your rear view mirror while you're driving (there's a window on the galley hatch). I still like the idea of the...

    Honda EU2000i Generator Recall

I know there are a few folks here who have this generator, so I thought I'd pass this on if you hadn't seen it already. If you purchased a Honda EU2000i recently, this is for a potential fuel tube leak, making it a fire hazard: http://powerequipment.honda.com/support/recalls-and-updates...

    Lug Nut (Wheel) Lock Size

I'm shopping for lug nut locks for my 550, similar to these. For those who have them, what size thread should I be looking for? Does anyone have a recommendation for a specific lock? Thanks

    Greetings from Maryland !

Steve and Jan, Once again, welcome to Camp-Inn ownership and now to the forum. There's lots of good information here on maintaining your CI. If you get into modding your trailer, then this is the place to be. The people here have come up with great ideas on how to improve an already...

You want these. They're listed online in packs of 6, but you can buy them individually in the store for $2-3 each.

    Popcorn for camping

We have a popcorn popper similar to this. We bought it years ago to use over a fire, but it works great on the CI stove.
