As someone else said, the galley is a particularly bad spot to store anything sensitive to heat (i.e., cold things; a refrigerator that prefers cooler air than hot air to breathe). If we don't take the electric fridge with us in the SUV (which we do on any long drive), we put the fridge on a...
While driving, you might consider storing the second table in the cabin of the camper. I throw the comforter halfway over it so it doesn't bounce around and damage the inside of the cabin. Just a random thought. We never store anything on the bed, until we realized that it's a pretty good...
We just spent 20+ days camping in Washington!! (St Helens; Rainier; Baker Lake; Orcas Island; Sol Duc (Olympic); Kalaloch (Olympic), and then down the coast!! Loved it. Enjoy your new camper!!

Your manual has instructions, which are consistent with what you would find on the web:
"Sanitizing the fresh water tank- If your water has a strange odor, color or taste: •Drain the fresh water tank fully. •Sanitize the tank by adding one (1) cup (8 oz.) of plain (unscented) chlorine bleach...
Utility is great, but economics are problematic. But people spend their money stupidly on all sorts of things (jewelry; new cars versus used). It's certainly no less economical than buying a new car versus buying used. And I'd rather have $5,000 worth of LiIon batteries in my camper than a...
That's a nice looking spice rack.

Something to keep in mind, perhaps the worst place to store spices would be in the galley of a teardrop. The heat will pretty much destroy any spices in there. (same with olive oil, etc.)
Still, that's where we store ours.....
Not a big deal...
Have you ever arrived at your campsite only to find that your TD battery has less charge than when you left home? How can that be? I had the TD connected to the TV and I drove for 5 hours!!....
Well, it may not be your battery's fault NOR your TV's fault. It may be YOUR fault! :)
I made a...
We stayed at Songdog near New Cuyama (near Carizzo Plain) and it was great. Owner is great. Great property. Highly recommend it. The owner may give you a little tour of his house.
re the Spring wildflowers, I haven't made it to Anza Borrego, yet, but if you decide to visit Carizzo Plain there is a HipCamp near there that is excellent. Lovely views, great host
Am interested in what you find for Anza Borrego etc .
Hope to run into this California TD some time while camping. Say hello if you see us!! We are big fans of El Capitan in the spring (as well as central coast sites north of SB).

I've been wondering how this campground/resort was, so thanks for the report.
They host a little music festival, if I recall, but I can't make it this year. Am sure the campground sells out before they even announce the festival.
a nitpick: I use a metal filter with my Aeropress. (I haven't compared to see whether the coffee is better using a metal vs a paper filter, but I like having one less thing to throw away.)

Great report and photos. So sorry about the federal shutdown. Irresponsible.
Can’t understand why people don’t pack out their own garbage.
Because of improved practices in Yosemite, the bear population is a lot safer than it used to be. Fewer bears in the garbage and fewer bears killed by...
