    Amco Paper Towel Holder

I mounted mine to the hatch, to the right side. Clears fine — but I have to take care not to buy the common (now) fat rolls of paper towels. Average size fits fine

    Amco Paper Towel Holder

I got this one recently on Amazon and works great. Ratchety so it doesn't unroll. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0024AKCTS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Retro Day! Camp-Inn's look and brand

Yes, recently acquired a used 560 Ultra. Love it. Not questioning the quality of the camper.

Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

@Sweeney Used to be we could count on what kind of hot summer we'd have here in Texas. I grew up in hot / dry El Paso and now live in hot / humid Houston. But now it's a tossup of how bad it will be. Summer before last was brutal with no rain and a bajillion days over 100 degrees. Last summer...

Iwatani butane stove -- perfect fit

Iwatani is Japanese company (though I learned they have a headquarters right here in Houston) and they are kinda the gold standard among indoor chefs. But they work well outdoors too (probably need a wind guard). They launched an outdoor line called Fore Winds. Not bad, but the burners aren't...

Iwatani butane stove -- perfect fit

Was surprised and tickled to discover my old Iwatani 35FW butane stoves slides PERFECTLY into the bottom of the 560 galley storage bay. (Great secondary stove with 15,000 BTU solid brass burner, btw)

    Misc New Kammok awning option!

Neat to see those hanging off a Camp-Inn! They're unavoidably pricey, but pretty dang sweet!

Has anyone added an Ark tongue jack?

The ratcheting on this model -- for moving trailer up inclines and such. And just a robust build from an Australian (I think?) maker.

Has anyone added an Ark tongue jack?

I think this is the one currently on Vistabules. But wondering if it would be easily mountable on the Camp-Inn frame? https://www.arkcorporation.us/products/xo350r-ratchet-style-trailer-jack

Retro Day! Camp-Inn's look and brand

Was sorta cross-discussing this with Drew at Playing With Sticks in comments on his latest video. He has an interesting take: "I think they know their target audience well. And while technically, I was the perfect target audience in terms of one who would appreciate their trailer, in terms of...

Retro Day! Camp-Inn's look and brand

Great thoughts, Sweeney. And I agree: They've no problem to solve as they clearly have found -- and maintained -- an audience. Just curious as to range of impressions people might have. (If you dig vintage you'll be in love right away, of course.) I like your point about how their website "tells...

Retro Day! Camp-Inn's look and brand

This being National Retro Day (who knew?), seemed as good a time as any to wonder aloud about this. Treading gently here as I don't think Camp-Inn has anything like a business challenge or a problem to solve. But I've wondered at different points whether certain things hold back potential...

    Gazelle Gazebo Tandem

What makes it a bit of a pain?

    Gazelle Gazebo Tandem

I saw that one as well. Certainly an option. Though a few considerations: * Open roof so a separate rainfly needed (might be a good thing depending on how you think about it) * A little more money ($80). * The tandem is 60 inches long packed up vs. 77 inches. Though it is "fatter"

    Gazelle Gazebo Tandem

I know there are a variety of posts (and religious beliefs!) where "best" shelters are concerned. Have been looking at Quick-Set by Clam -- but damned if I can get clear picture on which, if any have secondary entrance. (Their customer service dolt swears none of them do. But I can point out a...

Greetings from newly acquired No. 786!

My wife Rosana and I are thrilled to join this community after purchasing 560 Ultra No. 786 down here in the Houston area. (Thank gawd it has air conditioning!) Have followed this excellent forum for a couple of years while doing my teardrop research. Great people and lots of great information...

    Howdy!

I'll whole-heartedly second Sweeney's take on space. It's surprisingly roomy -- the extra two feet compared to a "standard" 5x8 trailer makes a big difference. Two people sitting or sleeping in a 560 is a great experience. And the front windows remove any cave-like feeling. I find it funny that...
