A couple new pieces of iron...

Re: Aebleskivers, Start to Finnish... They really look good. Lodge, as well as Camp Chef, and I am sure a few others make a hard nylon pan scraper. They work good on camelized ie burnt on sugar. If the "stuff" isn't on the cooking surface, I wouldn't worry about it. OBTW, you have me...

Re: 1st Waffles with the new iron Hope your test proves negative, now for the portant part. FYI, I have had my irons about 4 years, and the harshest thing they have seen is hot water and maybe a stiff nylon scrub brush, and those not very often. not counting my waffles that is. LOL...

Nice pieces Ken. Both make some very delicious dishes. I have a similar waffle iron, and absolutely love the waffles. Haven't picked up the Ableskiver yet.

    Griddle

I have the 2 in 1 griddle on one side, and grill on other, that I use at home. It fit on my coleman 2 burner just fine, but is too small for the brinkman 2 burner that I am usin now. I have never used the grill, because I have burned off all the seasoning on that side, so I just use the...

    Tastes Like Trusello Bread

Hey just had a thought, no comments please, If when you make the loaf you roll it to say about 2 inches in diameter, then when you want a dinner roll, slice off a piece of the frozen roll, and use the 6" oven to bake the rolls 3 will fit in the 6" Lodge. There ya go Jenn.

    Tastes Like Trusello Bread

I froze it after the 1st rise. The dough has been frozen for 3 days, and I used one today. It rose nicely, very slowly though, recomend it be placed in a dutch oven with the lid on and sitting in the sun. That should speed up the rise. When the dough has thawed, as long as it is kept cold, it...
