To try and make a long story short, the Delta 3 works fine. I've used it around the house and it just got back from Yosemite where it worked fine. Wiring and charging is a bit more of an issue. I decided I don't want a permanent install in the car. (I'm considering replacing the car.) So I want...

    EV - TV

If the EV has a 12 volt battery (and I think they all do) then there is an onboard inverter that charges the 12 volt. My hybrid RAV4 has a 12 volt that gets charged exactly the same way, through an inverter. It's doing the same thing an alternator would do in an ICE vehicle. I believe the CI...

    Curt Echo Brake Controller

I have one on my 560 I brought home in 2021. No problems and much less expensive than the Autowbrake.

I'm not a big fan of clearing cookies. That just wipes out all your "auto stay logged in" for sites you weren't having problems with. Along with a lot of other default stuff you now have to re-enter on individual websites.

Over the years I've had that problem intermittently. No idea why it happens but for now it's not a problem.

Yes. He found an Amish carpenter to do it. He talked about it in one of his videos.

Yeah, I paid $39 in the store last year.

I bought one of these portable air pumps last year. It's amazing how easy they are to use. I top off the car as needed at home. I top off the 560 before every trip without leaving the garage. I use it regularly to top off my bicycle tires. No more hand pump with gauges I can't read! It can...

    Toyota RAV4 Prime (plug-in hybrid)

I had never towed anything before buying my 560. It was an experience and an adjustment to deal with everything involved in towing and camping with a trailer rather than a tent. As time has moved on I've gotten more comfortable and much less paranoid about things. I've also found that my...

    Toyota RAV4 Prime (plug-in hybrid)

That thought has crossed my mind. I always leave it plugged in on overnights while traveling to a destination and have not had any issues. I will say, I'm not a boondocker who parks in remote places. Most of my overnights are at a Love's or sometimes an actual campground. I'm also pretty sure...

Especially when it isn't a race but they time you....and you just HAVE to beat your previous best time. ;-)

New 560 on the way…#1147 coming early May!

I've done some out of town bike rides in what I call cold weather. Not fun at all. I've also done some century rides with just under 10,000 ft of climb. Still hurts me to think about those rides. LoL!

    Toyota RAV4 Prime (plug-in hybrid)

Well, it works pretty good. Only downside is you do have to plug it in and take it out for every trip.

New 560 on the way…#1147 coming early May!

Where's the fun in being that organized? Some day I'll tell you about my trip to the Grand Canyon where I got there with no ID or credit cards (or my senior pass) only about $200 cash. It was winter and I wasn't camping but had a hotel booked. Oh, and I got a flat tire while I was there. Good...

New Water Heater Option for Camp-Inn

You know, you would think that but I'm not so sure. I've run some very informal tests on the 23qt at home overnight and I'm not so sure there's much if any noticeable difference in the amount of draw it uses vs my Dometic. Now FWIW, the Dometic "seems" to be a heavier/thicker wall of insulation...

I'm already using the Curt Echo. I'm happy with it. @Chuckwagon wanted to know about the Rav Prime and options.

    Toyota RAV4 Prime (plug-in hybrid)

I'm towing with a Rav4 hybrid which is rated for 1700 lbs. Going uphill is definitely noticeable but for my trips and where I live and drive I don't find it problematic. You would obviously have more power but it would certainly depend on where and how often you tow uphill. If you routinely tow...
