We got both awnings for our 560 done. I will also use guy lines when ever we put the awnings out, just did not use them for these pictures. They really look quite good and should be very functional.

Here is our first awning. It is 38" x 38" With a center fiberglass hoop rod to raise the center up. There is an aluminum cross tube between the upright poles with a hole drilled thru one wall, that is where the one end of the center hoop rod sticks into.

Adrianne I just love when someone improves on an idea. Thats what keeps this so fun. I have the spacer done that goes between the support poles and the hoop and support for it made. Just waiting for my seamstress to sew the guide sleeve for the hoop. More pictures as soon as it is done...

Wow Cary thanks for the info. GhostOrchid so glad you did not have a catastrophe. This really got me thinking about the ball on our hitch. I put the hitch in the receiver and used my 1/2" breaker bar with a pipe attached and was able to get almost another full turn on the nut.
