    Long Haul summer trip

It was sure a great trip. It is always good to be home to. Man is that camper a people catcher. We finally got so at times we would come out of a place and run to our vehicle get in and not look directly at anyone just so we wouldn't get stopped. More often than not one of the first 2...

    Long Haul summer trip

Becky and I just got home from our summer trip from June 13th to August 13th, 2013. We camped 55 nights, drove 8,176 miles, went to 18 National Parks and Monuments. This is such a big beautiful country. We saw near 4,000 year old Bristlecone pine trees in Great Basin Nat. Pk. along with their...

Joan, That looks great. Becky made a padded protector for our panel. You definitely do not want to scratch it, especially the back. Great pictures.

We have not stayed at Pike's Peak. We just love that whole area, both sides of the river. A lot to see and do.

They are 13 and 18 we stayed 2 nights at Jellystone campground at Bagley along the muddy Miss. It was actually a very...

    Sighting Camp Inn spotted

Wow you people are a tough bunch. Give me a break. You have to remember we had just drove 958 miles the day before then get on I-25 and head for downtown Denver. I hate city driving and thought I was doing good to see it at all. Would it help if I said the TV was small and dark in color?

    Sighting Camp Inn spotted

This past weekend Becky and I drove to Colorado to see our Granddaughter graduate from high school. We were on I-25 on the south side of Co. Springs and saw a 550 heading south. Don't remember what the TV was, but the CI had an alcan cover on the front end .

    Solar

I guess I don't see what is so frustrating about the solar issue. We ordered our 560 with the solar wiring option. We bought a 95 watt panel, and the MC4 cables just plugged the cables into the panel, wired the cables into the plug that CI provides (take your time to get connections right, also...

    2013 - Alaska or bust!

The only items we put on the bed when traveling, are items that don't matter if they get wet. That why if we want to get in in a hurry because of weather or just tired we don't have to find a safe dry place for them.

    Johnson-Sauk Trail SP

That is a nice park. Right in our neck of the woods. That barn is a real marvel. Many years ago before they renovated it, it was open all the time and we would go in it and climb all over inside it. You can really appreciate the size of it when you are up top. The park is so close to home we...

    Eastern Canada Adventure

Becky and I made a trip to Quebec a few years ago. Very beautiful. We made it about 1/2 way between Montreal and the city of Quebec. Just like going to France without going to France. It seemed like all their campgrounds were privately operated. Impeccably clean. Everything was in French. I...

    Galley toothbrush idea!

We keep our ditty bags in the cabin other than some Listerine I keep in the galley. Pat as to the light problem on the vehicle just last week I was at our dealer and asking about that very problem and over riding it. We have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the dealer showed me how to go into the...
