Betsey,
Mine is stamped in the angle right on top, just behind the coupler that gets pushed down to lock the ball.
Either way I think no less of the unit. It is still top quality, and in 2 months we get to head south.
You have a great idea also to move the wheels to keep the bearings free.
I think I will just lift mine up with the jacks and give them some spins.
Boy the ideas just keep coming.
We keep ours stored in our shed and covered, I plug it in once a week to keep the battery topped off, it is not heated but it is out of the weather, I also keep the jacks down to keep some of the weight off the tires.
You hit that on the nail.
The very first day we got our 560 we only went about 25 miles to our campground, but before we got there we stopped for a bite to eat and when we came out there was a group of people standing around it. Hence our first tour.
Check out Dexter Park in Wood county just to the north of Necedah. It is a county park. I believe it is only about 20-25 mi. north. We picked up our 560 in Oct. and drove up to the park and spent 2 nights there. Beautiful park.
The Moby looks like a very nice trailer also.
We just got our 560 in Oct. and were just able to use it for a week. Man we love it. We are busy getting it ready for our March trip.
Check out the Cleanwaste PETT toilet from REI. It folds and fits in one of the under matress storage compartments...
Re: Rock Tamer Vendors
It slides onto the hitch. Then it has a double nut bolt that screws down to tighten it down.
You are right about the 16" but it works great on our Jeep Grand Cherokee. I did have to put on a tail pipe turn down to redirect the heat.
Re: Rock Tamer Vendors
Check out the IBC hitch mount splash stop.
We have one it is very easy to put on and off. It just attaches to the hitch. I paid about $150.
Pretty cool. Literaly
Is that a window reflective coating on the windows?
That is really neat to hear the Elk.
We are heading to Co. and beyond next summer.
