They probably weren't designed for impact drivers. If you use a hand wrench I doubt you will never have this problem.

Mine is touchy too. It will close when I wake up in the morning, sit up and breath the wrong direction. All you can do is take it out of gear and manually crank it back open.

I have had that happen. May be due to not screwing in the tank connection far enough. I think there is a spring loaded valve in there that only opens when you screw it in the whole way.
