    550 / 560 Big Dude -> Little Trailer

I would go with the 560. My husband is 6' 3" also and we have found the extra room very useful and I'm certain that he would feel cramped in a 550. Be sure to get the SUV version of the 560. That raises everything up 3 additional inches and reduces the chances of bumping your head on the...

    Lost Nut on Leveling Jack

We just noticed our leveling jack nut is missing. Wondering if we all should have replacement nuts on hand or perhaps the leveling jack nuts should be more securely attached in the first place?

    Mudflaps Mudflap Accessory

These look nice. Less expensive and smaller than the Rock Tamers we have. Our Rock Tamers are heavy, bulky, and make it awkward to access our rear cargo. They also reduce our fuel economy. Would mudflaps such as the Aries Universal Mud Flaps that install behind the rear tires...

    Best tow vehicle?

Our 2010 4 cylinder Subaru Outback has CVT and it's been great for us. Provides even better fuel economy than a manual transmission.

    Best tow vehicle?

We have a 2010 Subaru Outback (4 cylinder)that can get 30mpg on the highway when not towing, but it only gets about 19-20mpg when hauling our 560. Is this about what others get towing their trailers? Can we do anything to improve the fuel economy? Sharon

    Replaced Thermostat

We used our furnace for the first time this past weekend while camping in the Nantahala National Forest in NC and wow! was it nice to have heat at the flip of a switch. I agree that the thermostat is in an awkward location and hard to read. Perhaps another solution would be to mark each of the...

    Sofa Cover?

You know, it probably is tan and just looks pink in the picture. Glad to hear that it stays clean. Thanks!

    Sofa Cover?

Do most people cover the sofa cushions in the 560 with a large towel to protect the cushions? Has anyone made a washable cover? The pet cover sounds like good idea, but is a bit pink for me.

    Best Cook Set?

I'm thinking about buying the Magma colander/steamer to add to my set and noticed that Magma has two styles of colander that can be purchased. The newer version has holes on the bottom and on the sides near the rim and the older version only has holes on the bottom. Some reviews say that...

    Leak Diagnosis

Any follow-up on your leak issue? I thought that we were supposed to spray water in the a/c vents to make sure the a/c drain is clear. I washed my 560 today and ended up with wet bedding near the foot of the bed and saw some drips on the black part of the a/c tubing inside the cabin cabinet...

    Internet access while traveling?

I use a Verizon Jetpack for work and it's great. You have to be very careful not to exceed your allotted data. One you tube video, downloading pictures, or using Facebook can get you in trouble fast. The Jetpack seems to work anywhere my Verizon phone works (which is a lot of places, but not...

    The Princess and the Pea

Does anyone use an "egg crate" foam topper instead of a memory foam? Since memory foam gets hard in cooler temperatures, I would think that an egg crate foam topper would work better in all temperatures.
