    Triple D trip

George, This was one, if not the primary reason for getting the 550. Our intentions are to plan our travels around Guy Fieri's adventures. Doesn't get any better than teardrops and good food… but you already know that.

    Wanabees from WI

When we rented last year the 550 came with an EZup canopy and side tent… it's pretty much equipped with everything CI offers… there's even an axe for chopping firewood and driving tent stakes. Marty will explain how it all works before he turns you loose. Just take what you want, leave...

    500th Camp-Inn Built

Cary, Can the speaker setup be retrofitted or is it for new installations only? We're looking at speaker options but would like to keep the CI custom built look.

    500th Camp-Inn Built

Betsey, The custom upgrades to #500 look fantastic… kudos to Camp Inn! Your crew are remarkable craftsmen. As much as we'll all be envious of the new owner of #500, we're just as proud to be owners of what we tow. Is that a power antenna?

    REI Alcove Shelter

Sounds like a pretty good test to me, glad it does the job in heavy rains. I can relate to running back and forth to empty the roof, don't want to have to do that again.

    Changing A Tire

Good point. I'm doing a little PM and cleaning on our trailer today so I'll throw a little grease on the jack screws.

In an effort to avoid another redundant post by me you could try the search bar. It should provide you with several solutions or just start here: http://www.campinnforum.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=13733&Searchpage=1&Main=1572&Words=leveling+jacks&Search=true#Post13733...

    REI Alcove Shelter

Joan, Your rafter system looks pretty good, but has it been put to the test? How much or how hard did it rain? I'm curious to know if it would stand up in a torrential downpour. A dozen 36" bungee cords don't come cheap in our neck of the woods, do you have a good source?

new to site. trying to decide on teardrop.

Joe, Welcome to our forum. A year ago we were asking the same question(s). But in all honesty it's like comparing apples to oranges. Like others have mentioned, get up close and personal with each of them then decide which one is right for you. Once we did that it became vividly clear...

    Blue Angels at Virginia Beach

Notice the orientation of my Alcove. Works well over the galley hatch under normal conditions. Warning: If you know a storm is coming set it up the other way, otherwise the rain runs right onto the trailer... and don't leave the hatch open. A rookie mistake that I made but have...

    Blue Angels at Virginia Beach

I bought these:http://www.easyklip.com/mini_klip.php to pull the shelter taught in the rain, they didnt come with the Alcove. There are other clips mentioned on other posts that will work also. I just happen to like these, not as bulky or ugly as some of the others. This was a torrential...

    Blue Angels at Virginia Beach

My uncle took me to my first air show when I was just a boy. It featured the Blue Angels, so last weekend we decided to return to Virginia Beach for the Blue Angels' Bicentennial Celebration of the War of 1812 Air Show. This time we camped at First Landing SP, which is far enough away from...

    Sink strainer

I saw a set of three strainers at Camping World yesterday, that's what prompted my question. I was wondering if one would work with a little modification. I think you've answered my question… thanks edited: Jenn, I'm definitely going to need something, I noticed last weekend it was...

    Sink strainer

What are you using as a sink strainer? We're afraid of dropping something in the sink and it work it's way through the drain. Everything we've come across is too deep or too wide to fit the drain flange.
