    Kelty Sideroads Awning

Those of you who have gotten this and set it up, is it easily moved from one location to another? Assuming you haven’t staked it out yet.

    Maquoketa Caves State Park

We went to Necedah for our 9 year checkup and some maintainance work. We went up the east side of the Mississippi and came home on the west side. In the process, we got 5 new states on our trip, Iowa was one of them. This is is charming, quiet, wooded park, cost us $24. This kind of park is...

    Cloudland Canyon

I totally agree. The West Rim campground is the ONLY one to stay in, IMHO. If I could only book East, I wouldn't. It's like a parking lot. One of two sites we stayed in October West Rim

Mesa Verde National Park - Morefield Campground Review

I was in Korea a number of times. They have squatters too. I guess it puts you in better position for evacuating one's bowels (see Squatty Potty) but I never used one for that particular function.

Need Help I Can’t See How To Post A Note About Used Northern Breeze

Ours was a life saver when we were stuck in a frog choker from the aftermath of Hurricane Sally while camping in TN. Best Buy we’ve made for camping since we bought the Stray Cat.

We have the five sided one. In a pinch I could set it up alone but much easier with two people.

    Stray Cat's (#539) First 100 Nights

Thank you for looking at my 100 days post and thanks so much for the tips! Much appreciated. I'm going to look into Balsam Mtn, definitely! Rainy tent camping is what stopped us from camping altogether and eventually getting our 550. It's been one of the best buys of our life together. Re...

Misc Return To The Nest-how To Proceed?

We are contemplating a return to the Nest with our 2012 550 for a good going-over and possible upgrades. I have questions: Do we need to make an appointment (thinking this is an obvious ‘yes’) How long does a visit like this usually take? Few hours? Overnight? What are some things we might...

    Hipcamp?

I think it’s like AirBnB. Some are much nicer than others. We stayed at one near Gainesville, FL because we couldn’t get a site at any State Park or National park in a resasonble distance on short notice. It was nice, it was in the 6 acre backyard of an old 1911 home that was not lived in but...
