Itinerary 2014 Nw Camp-inn Round Up

Thought I would bring this to the top to remind everone that is interested in this camp out.

So far we only have two trips planned this and the IRG.

Looking forward to seeing many of you there.

Dave & Dixie

The Lad and I plan to be there. Not sure if Mick will be back from Korea or was it Europe....

Anyway, .e will be there with at least 2 of her people and her dog. Or we might lave the dog.

So....at least 2 of us and a trailer.

Sigh.

Dewey and crew now have plans to head down Mossyrock way on Wednesday May 21st to avoid the always dreaded holiday weekend traffic. We reserved site #37 at Ike Kinswa SP.

Susan's sister Sharon will be in Seattle with her boyfriend Robert (visiting from Toronto) that same weekend so we will break camp at Mossyrock Sunday morning and make our way to the KOA in Kent for 3 nights.

See all ya'll at the 4th annual NWRU ( I feel I can safely use that expression after spending almost 2 months in the south this last winter)

The Northwest Round Up is a month away and the excitement is already building. Who is going to win the award for the best-accessorized teardrop, what mad science project is Uncle Frank going to dream up and will there be Jell-O shooters again this year? To find out, you will have to show up. Friday May 23rd to Monday, the 26th are the dates. The venue is Mossyrock Park just outside the town of Mossyrock, WA. Who should attend, anyone who has an interest in teardrops and likes to have a good time. Details to follow.

Attention all attendees of the 2014 PNW Gathering....

As some of you may recall on 4/6/13 Dan and Vanessa posted some great pictures of a few custom additions they made to their CI, the one I would like to refresh you on is the table extension for the "Dining Table". Link to conversation is at the bottom of this post.

Cary posted on 3/20/14 that they were working with Dan to come up with a CI version of this ingenious idea.

I just got off the phone with Cary and he said that they are at the shop and are available for delivery to current CI owners and new trailer picker-uppers.

I mentioned that I would be at the PNW gathering soon, and since I was going to be at the Nest perhaps I could pick up a few extra if any of the other gathering attendees wish to place an order.

So here is the deal, I pick them up and deliver them to you, saves on shipping and gives you a new toy to install around camp.

If there are any takers Cary asked that we give him some advanced notice. If you would like me to pick one up for you respond here or through a PM, I will set the deadline for May 5th, that gives Cary one week to get them ready.

I failed to find out the price, perhaps Cary will ring in later. He said he has no pictures at this time.

Link for Dan and Vanessa's pictures.

Joe, I'll take one...

Cary, sending email now... or if online, I'll purchase that way? Not seeing online so I'll go through Joe...
Thanks Joe...

Hi Joe
I would like one as well! Any suggestions on payment. Thanks for doing this, great idea and of course way to go Dan for the design and the all important vision thing!

Michael

We will take one too. Let us know who to pay, and we will get it covered! Thanks so much for the offer! That is great!

Since this item does not appear on the CI website payment will have to be cash or check. I will pay for all of them at the Nest, then when I deliver you can pay me directly.

JoeB -- this response is two-fold. Tom and Kool Lady will be at Mossyrock, unfortunately without Gayle, but she has responsibilities at our new home that she can't get out of.
Secondly we would also like to order the extension. Thanks for putting this together. Hope you will have room for them all.

Tom

Sorry Bear, I put this on the calendar a long time ago; however, it got booked as private which means you have to be logged in to see it. I have fixed the calendar. Detailed details (yes I know) are forthcoming. I hope you make it to the Roundup this year.

Hi All,
Norm and I will be attending the Mossy Rock gathering later this month. Please add us to the list. I'm sure the park will be full, last Sunday we camped at Mossy Rock and we were the only people in the entire park. The grass was green the trees blooming and very quite.
Looking forward to seeing everyone later in May,
Peggy

Just a friendly reminder...two more days until the deadline for the table extensions. Cary has assured me he will have enough to go around. If you have already posted no need to re-post...I get very easily confused.

Mikie Likes,

The NWRU is from the May 23 through Memorial Day, the 26th at the Mossyrock Campground’s Primitive Group Camp. Just show up and find a place to setup, no need to signup. There is nothing organized about this event. Just bring some food to share. We do ask for help paying for the camping fee. More details to follow.

Stephen
