We just got back from a great trip to Palo Duro Canyon State Park in TX. We spent 5 days camping in the canyon. Weather was mostly sunny & beautiful during the days (mid-50's) and chilly at night (low 20's). There was no moon, so the star gazing was awesome! Had one day of crazy 35 MPH winds but otherwise nice weather for hiking. We hiked most of the trails in the park, went into Canyon & Amarillo a couple times for some nice side trips, and had a great Thanksgiving week! Attached are a few shots from the trip.
