Itinerary 9th Annual Camp-inn Camp-outt

:-)
Maybe you could practice on Stray Cat when you go that Friday. Then you'll have your technique mastered for the Crab Pot. And we get there Monday, she'll be good to go. Sounds like a win-win to me. ;-)

Betsey, count us in. We'll be there with the brand new Crab Pot (if I pass Cary's tests).

Mike,

You were already on the list early on. :)

I'll have plenty of Woody's Wax for those who want to try it out, on the Crab Pot of course!
Mike

I don't know how many takers you will get on that offer...sounds like too much work for a relaxing weekend like the Camp-Outt. ;)

Hey, Betsey.

What do you need us to bring to the pot luck?

Sue

Whatever you want to bring. :)

I usually send out the email for the potluck about 3 weeks prior & add to the list as people email me back what they are bringing. I also give some suggestions as I know this is a first for some people & they aren't sure of what to bring.

Betsey,

I am thinking Tom Sawyer and paint the fence time. I am sure all of these discussions about Woody Wax pros and cons will cause some folks from the forum to want to try it out. I am just volunteering the Crab Pot, that's all!!!

Lisa, I'd love to but I don't think Cary will let me within 10 feet of the Stray Cat until you get the keys! Sorry!!!

Shirts! Did I miss something? Or am I jumping the gun?

Haven't posted anything yet. Actually got Craig to get the design done early & it's still going through a final check. Waiting for some feedback.

As the numbers of attendees has greatly increased over the past few years, we will be posting the info pretty soon & hoping to avoid the last minute rush.

I don't anticipate the prices to be much different than in previous years but will post that when I get it.

We'll be on the road then. Okay, I'll just wing it.

Everyone bring your bromo!

Carol,

The campground is large. CICO is near the facilities and shore line. Consider site 45 CICO center. You will see the big blue tarp shelter. Main eating area.

There is one main shower/restroom facility with flush toilets, sinks, electricty and showers. Building is not heated.

Important:
Showers require quarters.

I would rate them average.

Potable water is available available at the "dump" station and limited water stations in the park.

There are pit toilets scattered throughout the campground.

The sites are large, sandy, variety of sun and shaded spots.

Electricty is available, yet bring extension cords. The campground has allowed multiple tears per site if desired. There are no hard rules of one tear per site. You may choose to be in the middle of the gathering or set up far away. Freedom to choose as meets your needs.

A lot of us arrive Wednesday evening or Thursday. Hope you can be released from "Mother Ship" before Friday.

Thanks, Jean. By the way, I'm not being a wuss. Mike won't let me buy a porta potty until he sees what others use (not sure how he plans to check'em out - don't want to ask him either). I just wanted to make sure I didn't need one BEFORE we got there!
Mother Ship - I really like that description. Especially after I saw what was done to the Time Capsule. It really looked like it could have come from a mother ship.

And, it beats the heck out of some of the pit toilets out there. Whew!!!

We always carry a personal potty and a utility tent just in case things get dicey. They are so compact and easy to store, and let's face it, better to have it and not use it instead of being in need and nothing available except a scrawny shrub.

Been there - didn't like it.

Camp On,

Sue

Carole,
We use the same thing as Jenn. If you need height from your bucket, get yourself one that held pool or spa chemicals (rather than one from Lowe's or Home Depot). They tend to be a few inches taller. Nothing beat the Double Doodie for ease of use and disposal. We'll be at the CI CO if you want to see the unit in our side tent.

Thanks,
