Itinerary 9th Annual Camp-inn Camp-outt

barbie and i will be there alon with morgan and eric and the kids and probably ramona and kayson. can't wait to see y'all...

I second that Betsey!

Two good things just came out of that. One, a Camp-Outt without Parnell and Barb just isn't right for some reason. Those who know Parnell know what I mean!

Second is, notice the number of posts Parnell and Barb have made, 1! So, that means a big welcome to the forum is in order.

Parnell and Barb's grandkids are the most well behaved, lovingly parented kids I have ever seen. Hats off to the parents. Example of how we all should have been parented and should parent. A true gift to observe.

Welcome to the forum Parnell!

Nice to know you are still with us...bet you have been busy with those grandchildren! Enjoy them while you can and I agree with Jean...they are so well behaved and Cute, cute, cute....

Betsy, Penny and I have 1/2 a day off on Friday so we will arrive hopefully before dark on Friday. Really didn't think we were going to be able to so now we are excited - can't wait.

Come & Get 'Em! Cranberries & Beeswax!

Cranberries
For those Camp-Outt attendees who are interested in getting some fresh cranberries, just let me know & I will bring some to the Camp-Outt. These are very nice, just harvested & a very good price. If you are going to Cranfest, you won't be able to get them any cheaper, as I get them from the same grower who sells them there...a family friend...plus, you don't have the hassle of carrying them around all day or taking the long hike back to your car with them.

Prices: $2.00 for 1lb bag or $9.50 for a 5lb. bulk box - payable to me at the Camp-Outt. Cranberries will keep a long time if kept cool & they also freeze well.

Beeswax
For anyone who would like to buy beeswax for seasoning their Dutch ovens (or any cast iron pieces), just let me know how much you want. It comes in 1lb blocks & is very clean -nothing but pure beeswax. Comes from another friend of mine who has an apiary. Their honey (cranberry or wildflower)is also fantastic!

$5.00/ 1 lb block (and that will last you a long time!)
$3.00/ 1/2 lb block

Please let me know by Monday, September 24 if you want cranberries and/or beeswax.

Camp-Inns, cranberries, honey & beeswax...all Wisconsin grown! :)

Just a reminder that time's running out on ordering shirts for the Camp-Outt!

I need the order by this Sunday evening, September 16!

Don't miss out...you're gonna love this one!

Kathy,

Pot Luck Time!

We will have our potluck dinner on Saturday about 5:30pm. Below is a list for the potluck. If you know what you will be bringing/making, please email me or post here, I will add your item to the list.

If you are unsure what to bring, that’s okay. There will be a list posted at the Camp-Outt so you can get some idea of what others are bringing and to which you can add your name and dish.

Dessert will be provided…our usual Dutch oven cobblers and homemade ice cream (but you have to help turn the crank!). :D

At this time, we are expecting about 150 people! Woo-hoo! Our largest group to date!

Just a reminder that when making a potluck dish, plan on it feeding about 6-8 people and that will make enough for everyone without a ton of leftovers.
Note: For those of you who may be cooking with a Dutch Oven, a 10" one will be plenty big enough; a 12" will feed A LOT of people! :o

There is a large grocery store within 10 miles of the campground in case you need supplies.

See you soon!
