Itinerary 9th Annual Camp-inn Camp-outt

First attempt to post pictures on the forum after Gary from Erie, CO kindly sent directions on how to post with a Mac. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will work.

If you look carefully to the right you will see a Northern Breeze with a 550 in each end. Jean from Rodchester and Peg from Mequom Wi who was renting a 550 shared the tent.

Does't this make you want to pull up a chair and a plate?

After a full week working in the real world. :) I want to be camping! It was fun looking at all the tear drops and meeting everyone. The weather and food was great. Looking forward going to more gatherings.

Pat W: Nice pictures!

The couple who's names you couldn't immediately recall in one of your pictures is Greg and Caroline. They live about a half hour from me in Grand Rapids, MI, and were kind enough to let me come look at their 560 a few weeks ago.

Another great CampInn CampOutt! Thanks to Betsey, Craig, Cary, and everyone else who was responsible for putting on the biggest, and quite possibly the best, gathering yet!

It was great to finally meet some of the forum folks - Jim & Sue of jsl fame, Kathy & Bob, Sherry, Carol and Mike (FLMikeandCarol)and Pat (aka Pat_W). It was good to see the 'old timers'; Jerry & Tina, George, Jean, Jenn and the rest of the usual suspects. It was good to spend some time with a few people we had seen at past CICO's, and to meet some who came to learn more about CampInn's and take the factory tour. One couple next to us drove in Friday night, all the way from Topeka, KS to be sure to catch the Saturday morning factory tour.

Looking forward to next year's 10th anniversary blow-out!

Thanks, everyone, for posting stories and pictures from the CI-CO. We just got home from our 51 day, 8,400 mile trip (will post about that in the appropriate category!)- the CI-CO was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. After that our feeling was, "what can beat that? might as well go home." We had to miss last year's, which occured the weekend after we picked up our TD. So all year we've been looking forward to attending and it didn't disappoint. So fun to catch up with people we've already camped with, as well as meet in person people we've "met" on the Forum. There were also some unexpected surprises: Gayle from Propect Heights, IL went to high school with my sister AND her sister graduated with me.

Terry and Julie - we wanted so much to meet you, but couldn't find you. Bob and I both attended college in Winona. Next year we'll plan ahead of time a time & place to meet.

Betsey, Craig, Cary, Holly, Marty and the rest: Thank you for this opportunity. Your ability to organize this weekend is amazing. You made each person there feel welcome and important to the Camp-Inn "community." As you prepare to pull together next year's event, please let us know how we can help.

Bob and Kathy, we would have loved to have met you as well. We wish we could have spent more time there, as the weekend passed by all too quickly for us. We arrived early in the evening on Friday and left Sunday morning after breakfast. Which college(s) in Winona did you both attend? Do you ever get back to the Winona area? CI-CO will definitely be on our calendar next year and if you are there we want to be sure to meet up with you. - Julie & Terry

Bob: St. Mary's; Kathy: the defunct St. Teresa's. Since Bob's family is in Michigan we very occasionally drive through Winona, depending on our route. We'll look forward to meeting you next year.
