This was out first (and definitely not last) CICO experience. Jim says it was a lot of fun, but Jim isn't too big on adjectives. (Jim says I do most of the talking. He wasn't too clear on the meaning of this, but that's Jim all over.) I say it was one of the more memorable experiences of our life together. I mean, how many couples could travel 9,324 miles in 32 days and avoid eviscerating each other...other that Kathy and Bob, that is? Yes, I'd say it was a bit more than "fun".
While I think of a few well chosen descriptive terms, Jim wants to add some heart felt thanks:
To Betsey and Craig, Cary and all those who worked so hard to bring this to be (Tina was dicing veggies and ham for days), many, many thanks for a wonderful gathering...and boiled omelets, who knew?!
To Jenn and Kathy for rescuing us at the grocery store (story to follow).
To Bob and his lounge chair for teaching us how to really relax.
To George for his breakfast bombs in the middle of the day. Our arteries will never be the same and maybe that's a good thing.
And to Ben who kept us in a constant state of "AAAaawwwwww".
There are so many wonderful people, memories and joys shared, many of which have already been mentioned by others, that they cannot be fully expressed here.
Guess I'll just have to write a story.
Later - I'm still pooped.
Camp On,
Sue and Jim (says)
