We intended to camp in/near Pokagon State Park near Angola, Indiana this past weekend - well, they were booked solid Friday night. So we began looking at nearby campgrounds, only to find them booked or not so good. We decided we'd head back west in our search, and found a nice private campground in Shipshewana, IN. They let us stay in their 'tents only' area, which was very nice. We managed to get in a nice paddle at Chain O Lakes State Park in Albion, IN, and poked around Shipshewana a bit, which is a big Amish/Mennonite town. Time well-spent...
