Any Suggested Repair/maintenance Places, North Of Dallas ?

I've got a (new to me) 550 with an undetermined amount of miles. I've just received a new set of (2) bearings from Cary, and after reviewing the forum archives, I'd like to get my bearings serviced, or replaced if necessary.

I'm ~30 miles north of Dallas, and there are a couple of camper dealers further north of me, including a Camping World.

Looking for suggestions on a place for maintenance in the general area from others who've received good to great service. Close by is great, but honestly, the DFW metroplex area is a pretty big place, and I'd be happy to drive a ways for peace-of-mind and quality work, regardless of price.

I though the common wisdom here was not to go to boat places, as they tend to overpack the bearings in prep for submersion in water? And that ends up causing other problems down the road.

Either way there are a number of trailer places up and down IH-35. Do they have good service and do good work, I don't know, that was the point of asking here.

But you are absolutely right, having the bearing serviced is pretty simple stuff, but that wasn't necessarily what the question was about, at least indirectly. Yep, maybe I should have written more in my description.

The bigger question is I'm looking for a reliable place that does quality work for (possible) future issues/problems/etc, for problems that would be beyond simple.

The hope is/was that someone might reply, "Hey, Joes trailers is just up the road from you. They've worked on my trailer for years and have always done quality work".

Its becoming more apparent that there is probably no Camp-Inn owners in this area, or at least on this forum, and I will fall back to the old standby of School-of-hard-knocks.
 
Jerry is correct, stay away from shops that service boat trailers. The process for packing boat trailer hubs is incorrect for these high speed hubs and will speed rate down your hubs to 55mph and then highway driving will overheat the bearings and cook the grease out of them.

Our recommendation is to not use trailer shops for this service. Use an auto mechanic shop, or a brake shop or even a tire shop. The process for high speed trailer hubs is identical to servicing bearings on a car or truck. Any place that may do boat or small utility trailers should not be doing these.

Bump on this. Recommendations are appreciated.

Its been a while since I've posted here. I've been going thru some serious health issues, so my Camp Inn has just been in storage.

Health is currently manageable, at least for a while, so without getting into any serious details that no one wants to hear, I'd like to get my wheel bearings inspected/services, before I head out and knock off some bucket-list items.

Thanks for looking. Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex is an incredibly large area. This really can't be that hard.
 
Do a Yelp search for “Mobile RV Repair.” I found a guy that did mine at my house and did a great job.
