Washer / Dryer Anyone Buy The Maytag Washer And Dryer

It really seems like a good deal. Perhaps CI will follow up on my suggestion for a hot tub option next.
 
Its called finance I have paid nearly half of the Three dollars since May. But the down payment was a bit steep 30% up front brought on specification and goodwill as no pictures available
 
Speaking of washing on the road...I found a link to a site that talked about using a 5 gallon bucket in the back of the car/truck to wash clothes on a road trip.
1) Add clothes and water.
2) Add 1/2 qty of detergent you would normally use (preferably eco friendly). Make sure to seal bucket tightly with lid and secure in back of vehicle.
3) Drive ~2 hours, then replace grey water with clean water at a rest stop.
4) Drive some more--> hang dry clothes at your next camping spot or stop at a laundromat to dry only.
It seemed like a nifty idea (although impractical if you're not actually driving too much or if your ride is ultra smooth). Just an interesting idea. If I find the link I'll post it.

Sounds like a lot more work than the little washer I posted about - we've used it and it works great - some reviews said it wasn't any good - but not in my experience or opinion. And it's FAST! 2 Mins!

I think I will be in the same boat when the time comes. I sure hope she doesn't make me choose...... Like the song says " sure gonna miss her" LOL
 
Its a cool piece of kit you must get one no Camp Inn is complete without one. I believe Evan even offered one as a prize recently.
 
Actually, the $3 kit is an instruction manual for how you can retrofit your Camp-Inn to accomodate the Maytag washer/dryer kit. (That's what the website said, although the link seems to have disappeared - perhaps they are having trouble with availablity.) Camp-Inn guarantees that it will fit in your Camp-Inn. I don't think they are trying to make money by charging for instructions, it's probably mostly to cover the postage.
 
We actually have two of them...got the second one so that we could have spare parts in case we needed them. As these are highly specialized units, you can't find replacement parts from just any old appliance dealer.
