Rick, I kind of tend to lean in your direction too. I understand the value of regular maintenance, and this is too expensive of an investment to let fall apart. But we like to use our camper. A lot. So if it looks a little used, I don't think that's so bad. I don't want it to look used up, but I also don't want to have to fuss over it so much that I get freaked out over every little spot.
To that end, we've found the Woody Wax to do well by us. It's easy to put on and take off, and, at least when we've done it, it's taken out any water spots that were on it.
We applied it before 4,000 mile 2-week trip to Maine, and then again after a 7,000 mile 3-week trip out west. It looks good to me.
