i see camper world has the Dometic CF - 35
on sale for $529.99 PLUS $50.00 shipping
do you think thats a deal ?

Yes, whenever Camping World has these sales it is a good deal. That is below wholesale on this unit. One would call it a "lost leader item", which makes it better than a good deal.

I recently purchased one from camper world for $529 and only $4 shipping. I had to call because when I tried to order it online it told me they were out of stock. By the way we received the new CFX-35 which seems to be bigger.
 
according to the measurements on the Dometic-Waeco website, it looks to me like the CFX-35 is too big to fit in the galley space. The width is 630 mm without handles and the depth is 398 mm. Those convert to 24.8 x 15.7, both of which are larger than the galley space on our 550.

I'm not sure what the difference is between the Dometic and Waeco websites but they do both say dometic. One site lists the CFX-35 and the other lists the CF-35.

Whatever, I sure hope they're still selling the CF model 'cause I'm thinking about getting one sometime soon.
 
Just wondering if the CFX 35 fitted into the space in the Teardrop. Going to order mine soon so I would be interested in knowing dimensions
