Well, you have the license plate right! Looks more like Alaska than Maryland! Good to "see" you three again! We hope you can make it to our second MAUCICCO gathering again this year- August 7-10, same location as last year.

That looks like smoke coming out of your tent, do you have a potbelly stove in there. Does the tent have a floor. It looks very cozy!

Yes Smoke, Yes Stove, Yes Floor and Yes cozy. That night it was 1*F outside, 44*F in the cabin and 76*F at table height in the tent. It had to be 85 at head level!

You wouldn't need a hat then. Susan and I contemplated an old time style canvas tent with some kind of light sheet metal type of wood burning stove inside. We saw a set up like it at Great Smoky Mountain NP, the campers seemed to be pretty comfortable. But by the time we added up all the equipment needed we knew we couldn't fit it in our Mini so ended up going the teardrop route, so glad we did.
