Yep, a little chilly...
Forecast for colder...
I was going to go "Tent Camping" for 3 days, but cancelled.. -8F Wind chill going on over at Eastern WA... so "Ice Checked" it...
Not that cold here, Seattle, of course but clear skies... Sun Breaks, for a little while, seem to be clouding up in the evening..

Have you considered putting a small wood stove in your tent? I did this fall and am enjoying a cozy tent in the snow. If you are interested, there is a guy in Colorado (Bear Paw Tents) that will sell you the chimney jack and he has a great YouTube on how to install it. It's real easy. I believe the term is "Hot Tenting". Be careful though, I think the drug trade uses the same term. Search Hot Tenting on YouTube and there are a lot of guys doing it. Just what you need, another piece of freight to pack around.

Frank, in addition to the hot stove, you could also put your tent on wheels to get up off the ground. While you're at it, add some hard sides to keep out the bears, and an aluminum roof to keep out the rain. Might as well put a kitchen in by the back door. Add a hitch, and you could just tow your tent all over the country without any setup. Hey, there could be a market for something like that...

I'd get all "Tearie Eyed" just thinking about it.. and if I didn't have the tent and in cold weather, my "Tear Drops" would freeze...
