AR Gulpha Gorge

Camped one night at Gulpha Gorge campground in Hot Springs National Park. We were in site 44 which backed up to creek and was at a spot where the water tumbled a few feet over some rocks across the creek. The sound of the water was great. This site is next to one of the bathrooms, but it does not have showers in this one, so we found only a few used it. The light over the door that faces you site does stay on all night. Paved site that was level. There was some gravel behind the asphalt that made for a sitting area near the creek. Concrete picnic table, fire ring and stand up grill like at picnic area. The bathhouse with the showers is in the middle of the campground. Single shower in there with a toilet and sink. Very roomy and the door locks so nobody is in there but you. Facilities in both of these look pretty new. Yo will receive a code for the door when you do reservations. Be sure you know it when you do go for a shower.

Convenient to the rest of the park and the city which is just around the hill, but it does not feel like you are in a city.
