Glenn and Karen
Novice
Hello to all from Karen and Glenn.
My signed contract and check are on their way to Wisconsin. Karen and I are looking forward to our 550 Ultra and the ensuing travels through this great country of ours. I'm a 49 year old computer scientist who's spent too much time behind a computer monitor. I'll be working less and less, and traveling more and more. Like a few others on this forum, I've agreed to buy a Camp Inn trailer sight unseen. The depth of information on this forum and the variety of internet media worked together to highlight the impeccable craftsmanship of Camp Inn. That made my decision easy. More than once I was watching a video of a new Camp Inn trailer only to learn that it was actually 4 or more years old.
My wife has done an incredible job raising our two children. Now that the kids are grown, we see this as a great opportunity to spend quality time together. My son and I did a lot of weekend camping in the past, and at first, I thought Karen and I could travel and camp using "rougher" methods. That was a non-starter with her, so I was happily surprised when I discovered teardrop camping. I took her to see another brand of teardrop and she felt confident that the concept will work for her. Oh yeah, and we have the ever-so-popular tow vehicle -- a 2014 Subaru Outback.
I'll certainly have more questions for other areas of the forum.
With warm regards,
Karen and Glenn (kogo)
