Hand Forged Tent Stakes

In Southern California, the ground at most of the campgrounds is rock hard and every tent stake I ever tried endend up up bending. Found these hand forged stakes made by a blacksmith and they will go through anything without bending. I carry a small sledge hammer for pounding them in. Love finding cool gear, that's half the fun!

I ordered a new set of tent stakes. Had him make them a little shorter than his stock stakes (9 inches instead of 10) and leave an opening on the eye large enough for a paracord to slip through. He sent me a video of him actually working on my order that I thought I would share. Forged in fire!! :)

no doubt sometimes we need a heavier duty stake!! Expensive, but very cool. Am glad he was willing to adjust the design.

These are cool. I always liked blacksmithing products. I ended up going on ebay and purchased military grade tent stakes
