Hello there Camp-Inn Community!
We are Mark and Jan based in Plymouth just outside of Detroit. We have been camping for nearly 30 years, mostly in tents and we have been lucky enough to camp in the UK (where we are originally from), Australia and the USA. We have recently been camping in a tent that sits on the back of our truck. We went down the teardrop trailer rabbit hole and fell in love with the Raindrop and we are hoping that 2026 is the year we become proud owners. If you are selling a 560 you will probably be hearing from us!

WELCOME! I swear, I saw the black truck and the orange trim and heard the Batman theme song....

Welcome and Good LUCK!!

I say that because the used one’s accommodated well, priced right, and a 560 SUV height trailer sells FAST. It’s like you have to be ready to jump in the car and go….
Trailer or no trailer you should check out the CICO event in Necedah WI in the end of September.

:)

Well, thanks to the lovely Jim Bo we are now the owners of #747, we are so thankful for Jim’s advice and generosity. We are thrilled to be Raindrop owners and bona fide Camp Inn community members ❤️
Thanks for the kind words.
I know you and Mark will enjoy your Ultra very much.
Good luck to you both, and say "Hi" to Wats for me.
Jim

There have been hard times where this community kept me out of some very dark places. While I feel a kinship with all RVers, this is somehow different -- even than the friendship I had in Grand Design and Fleetwood (bounder) forums. What I find here is completely different...camaraderie, time spent with people who have the same "view askew" that it takes to camp in something as compact and minimalist (yet not) as it is. This too is why the campinn campoutt is the highlight of my hear (yet also the lowlight becuse it is typically my last outing)

You're not far from the Hoosier Chapter of the Tearjerkers --- we usually have a gathering a month, and northern indiana (potato Creek in South Bend, or Pokagon near Angola Indiana are not uncommon...be great to see another CI there!
