It's SO hot here!

...and the mountains beckon - but so many appts. to keep make it impossible right now. What's the temp in your area? It's 104 deg. here.
 
WOW! Bill kept telling me today how hot it is and that's so unlike him - I'm usually the broken record, but he said it so many times I actually said to him, "And your point is? You keep telling me how hot it is and that changes NOTHING! Quit talking about it!" Now here I am talking about it! I owe him an apology! IT'S HOT! Come on Fall!
 
Yes you all in the SW have been devastated with a draught as well as heat. This unusual high temps has been rather wide spread. I will take this over snow any day.
 
Summer arrived this week. We have temps as high as 83 today. Plenty hot for me, and my garden should be happy if the recent 'fall weather' hasn't totally screwed them up. I am just so happy it is dry. The lad comes running into my room in the morning yelling "Mummy, it's a nice day! It's a nice day!" It has just been so wet this year.
