Magnetic Door Stopper

I saw this magnetic door stopper on a tear at the TOW Spring Fling - seemed pretty slick to me.
I've been told that the rubber socket on mine will wear out in a year or two. Would it be easy to replace the existing stopper with this one?

I've had my trailer 5 yrs and havn't had any problem with the door catch. and I use mine a lot. they still look and act new.

That is a nice door stop, haven't seen that one. The one you have shouldn't wear out. It can get a bit looser over time but it can be tightened up by turning the screw in the middle.

Evan, I would suspect that if it is a good strong magnetic grab, the materials are carbon steel which will rust big time.
