On The Quest

Greeting from Toluca Lake, CA. We're on the quest to buy a 560 Ultra. If a 2010 or newer becomes available on the western half of the grand & glorious US of A we'll buy it. If not, we'll order a new one for pickup in April 2016 when we have a block of time to road trip to Wisconsin.

Congrats. I purchased mine used from a seller in these very forums. They do come up for sale from time to time. However, when they do, you have to act fast because they usually sell quick.

You will certainly love it, I know we love ours.

Thank you, Jay. By the way, several days ago I watched you YouTube videos, and read your blog and article in Cool Tears. I found it all very helpful.

Welcome! We made the decision to buy a 560 in the summer of 2013 and watched the "For Sale" section every day for months but nothing came up that was just right. So in early October 2013 we were just a few days away from finalizing our options list (kept going back & forth to get the heater or not) and placing an order for a brand new 560, when the perfect 560 was listed for sale (it even had the heater :) ) So, we made the trip from Texas to Minnesota and brought our baby home and have been over the moon ever since! I know you will be too, whether you buy used or new.....it will be great....except for the wait.

Thank you kindly for the warm welcome. Yeah, I check this site's "for sale" link daily along with the entire western US Craigslist, eBay and the world wide interweb in general. If anyone on the western half of the US wants to sell their 2010 or newer 560 we are buyers with money in place.

HI Stu,
We have a 550 (NOT FOR SALE), but when you get your 560,or before,
Please look up teardroptime.weebly.com They host the Lake Perris Gathering at the end of March. Its within a 100 miles of you, and Lake Perris in Spring is usually very nice (think camping with California Quail running around!). Plus there are normally 100+ teardrops there! An ever growing number of CIs as well as some wonderful oldies and lots of ideas and wonderful people.

I use to race go karts out near Lake Perris. I seem to remember the track is just below the damn. And just down the road from the half mile dirt track.
