What a great video. We never realized how diverse Oregon was until we drove back to WA from our "California 2012" trip via US 395 and wound up in south central Oregon. Now we're looking forward to going back to experience some more. Thanks for sharing. Kathy

We have family in Oregon and love to visit there. Washington is gorgeous also and, of course, California is no slouch. My only sorry for my home state is the over urbanization going on. Too much of our rural lands, farms, ranches and rolling foothills being concreted over in the name of progress (really not fond of that word). At least Oregon and Washington still have huge tracts of open land.

Can't wait til July when we will get to see some of the countryside in Oregon and upper California! Looking forward to it. We will be leaving July 14th heading for Oregon and then onward to the IRG in California. Thanks again for sharing the video.

They say Oregon has every climate except frozen tundra/arctic. It is a pretty special place, especially when you get outside of the cities. I will have some posts up soon about different places we stayed/visited in the last two weeks. Just need to restock the fridge, tackle the mountains of laundry, tend to the garden, and get myself and the lad back on schedule (he slept more than 11 hours last night, and for anyone who knows how active he is, and what a non-sleeper he is, this is a near miracle!).
We got to see some amazing things in northern California on this trip as well, and we spend a lot of time in Washington. This whole region has a little something for everyone, and that is why people keep coming. Plus, I like to think we are pretty friendly!

Those chickens just stood there and looked at me last night. Like I was a complete stranger and they were in shock I was standing in front of them. I found a couple of slugs for them, and we were friends again. Those girls crack me up!
