Need Help Photos Won't Upload

I cannot upload a 57kb picture for my profile avatar - using Chrome browser on a Mac. Keep getting the file size is to big, resolution is 150x150. "The following error occurred: The uploaded image is too big" ~ help? Added said image to this post.

Don't know if this is the problem but that image is 1050 x 787.

Thanks - I resized the photo so it is now 720 x 720 and 50 KB, no go on the upload

Looks like the size limit is closer to 5KB. Mine here is 100 x 100 and is 4KB.

Edit: redid this to 125 x 125 and is 11KB.

Yeah, seems they've got to be CRAZY small. Try 150X150 and go smaller by increments if needed. It WILL work eventually...
