We started off with a manual Wonder Wash, and liked it. But, ultimately, we decided to store it at my mother in law's as going to the laundromat is easier! Plus we needed the storage space in our car! This foot operated machine is kind of novel!
I thought neat and will consider when we are full timers in a few years. The laundry matt is ok but dont like the crowds and lime the freshness of line drying.....
I don't currently need anything for laundry on the road; but I've heard good things about "theScrubba" for portability. But I also wonder if a sealed bucket and a bumpy road will work, too. lol
Pretty interesting for daily washing of cycling togs, but still kinda bulky and its looks as though you'd need to wring the clothes out by hand when you are done.
it's an interesting idea. I'm not sure why you wouldn't simply handwash whatever you could wash in it, but apparently some folks think it's a good idea, so...
I think pumping with your leg is harder than washing by hand. Then again, the sinks that you might use in a campground are likely pretty disgusting...and they don't get cleaner by my washing my dirty clothes in them.
I usually simply bring enough clothes that I don't need to wash anything, but our longest trip is two weeks or so. That approach wouldn't work if you are on the road for a month or more.
